Just curious to hear your stories. For most of my births, labour has started late evening.
How was it for you? Were there any triggers?

According to my midwife, it's rare to go into labour during the day- so I had to laugh when I told her both my labours started during the day.
DD1 had my first contraction at 6.30am, she was born just after 3pm the same day.
DD2 had my first contraction at 11.30am, she was born just after 1.30pm the same day.

Middle of the night, both times. No triggers, just woke up in labour.

I had my 'show' at 9am, any my first contraction not long after that, but contractions were very very mild til 2am. I would say I was in full blown established labour at about 11am (the day after my show) and had him at 5pm.

Woke up at 1am with the first contractions (early stage of labour) - so mild contractions. Was in established labour at about 6pm with regular strong contractions. Bub arrived with a little assistance just before 2am.

First was 2am born at 12:24pm
Second was an irritable uterus so spontaneous contractions whenever it wanted for about 3 weeks before birth, then I had had enough I got my waters broken in the morning had my first contraction around 10am and he was born at 10:36am - neither of them did I have warning as such just fake pre labour with DS2 that resulted in ARM.
