    Default Centrelink supps after tax?

Does anyone know how they arrive as per your tax? I heArd you got your tax and then a few weeks later after cross referencing you'll get Centrelink supps paid. Can anyone shed some light? And what are they? I am single with a 2 year old.
Also how can I tell if I overestimated? I split with DP in Jan this year.
Sorry for all the q's, thank you!!

If you over estimated centerlink will know when you do your tax and will refund the difference at about the same time as you get your bonus thing. Depending on your tax return if you earned under what you estimated then they'll give you the full amount which I think is about 600 per child. After you do your tax ring centerlink with your tax return reference number and they will be able to tell you if you'll be getting the full bonus amount and if you overestimated.

You will need to wait for your DP to do their tax first too.

Oh yeah I missed the op comment of splitting this year, thought it said last year. Yep you've gotta wait for him to do tax as you were together for part of this financial year before centerlink will do anything.

Yep as pp have said you need to both do your tax. Then they will get the income amount from the ATO and do the FTB Supplements plus a reconciliation amount if its due. It should all come together into your account. Mine usually comes with my normal FTB payment as well.

We co-ordinated it and both did our tax last Monday. So it's been over a week now. Appreciate the replies !
