Hi Star I also wanted a garden wedding too & got married at Mount Cotton Rainforrest Gardens....it was sooo beautiful & I highly recommend it if u want the name of an awesome marriage celebrant in Brissy, let me know. Ours was awesome & did such a good job. We had the ceremony at Sirromet winery not far from there in the barrel room...I wouldn't change a thing.

    Good luck

We got married here. At Long Island in the Whitsundays. The first photo is on our wedding day, the second photo was the same location on a different day.

We got married at Coral Sea Resort in Airlie beach. Most magical day ever, and the resort staff spoiled us for the almost week we were there (we are locals but stayed at the resort a few days pre and post wedding).

We are doing a garden wedding next year - We aren't 100% set on where the ceremony and reception will be but we have been highly recommended this place - http://www.coolibahdowns.com.au/weddings.php It gives the option of an outdoor ceremony, or you can hold your wedding in the romantic little chapel they have. They also have a little "bridal retreat" area where the bride and her bridesmaids can get ready, and it is very reasonably priced compared to other places we have looked at!

Checking it out ourselves in September

My girlfriend had her wedding there last year. I thought the ceremony was... okay... the reception was quite nice.... but I just have to worn you, the food was HORRIBLE honestly my partner who will no joke eat ANYTHING (ex army so think canned meat, off food, he will eat stuff that's been in the fridge way too long he's gross basically lol) could not stomach it. It was seriously embarrassing what they served us. If that was my wedding I would have been devastated. Of course it could be a different story for you but just as a warning I thought I'd mention it!
