    In our current situation I would put it in the bank for now (homeloan offset account) and use it to buy some things we need for the new baby.

    In your position, I would probably save half (can never have enough savings!) and spend half on some luxuries!

    We are going on 3 week holiday tomorrow..so I would use it for spending money..otherwise save it!!!

    So I've decided that we're going to put an extra week on our rent just in case of emergency and the rest I'm storing away in a high interest saver account which will earn us an extra $200 by the time our anniversary comes round next year so we'll be able to do something nice together
