    Default Slow Cooker Duck Receipes

    Anyone cooked a whole duck in a slow cooker? Just wondering how it would go? Not sure on all the duck fat that will come out.

    Any thoughts please?

    While technically I dont see why it wouldn't work I'd imagine you're going to get an incredible amount of fat unless you render it out first.

    I know when I roast duck theres always a lot of fat in the pan. So probably best to brown the skin really well to remove most of the fat first or do it with skinned duck. Just my opinion

    Or you could skim the fat at the end, but I think there'll be a lot.
