Default Do your kids worry about dying and what happens after?

My ds9 came in tonight after I thought he was asleep to tell me he was scared to die and why do we have to then what happens to us. I really hate thinking about it as I have trouble sleeping for weeks.
What do you say to your kids to help ease their minds?

Well we're quite spiritual in our house, so my kids hear about energies and souls and spirits and angels and the Divine quite often.

I'm pretty sure they're of the opinion that if they were to die their spirit would go to a place in which only positive things exist. To be forever surrounded by love and become part of the team of angels protecting those you love on earth, until they join you.

At the moment though Gabriel is worried about DH dying (why I have no idea...) he worries about who will cook bacon and eggs if DH dies. Lotsa love there. lol.

No, they don't. We teach them what we believe and they are happy with that, it is very straightforward to them. I remember worrying myself sick about it as a kid though.

Not at this age (he's 4. 5 years), it's not even on his radar, and that's the way it should be at this age :-)
