    Default Dating scan

    So I've got a referral
    For my dating scan to find out when baby is due. From
    People who have already had these... Did your husbands/partners go with you?

    I always take dh to scans, if something were to be not quite right, I'd need him. If everything's perfect, we both enjoy seeing bubs.

    But, do what's right for you.

    no, but it was an unplanned pregnancy & we were unsure what we were doing. Had DD have been planned he would have been there.

    Yes DH came because he wanted to. If he didn't want to I wouldn't have been too bothered but it was nice to have him there

    Yes DH has come to all of our scans. If he didn't want to go to the dating scan then that was up to him, but he wanted to come.

    My partner has come to all my scans and doctors appointments. He is so excited and wants to be involved in every step. If your partner wants to go with you let him, they miss out on alot of the experience of pregnancy so may aswell include them as much as possible.

    Yea I want him there. Just do hard to find a time when we r both free.

    You have a dating scan around 7 weeks. Is that correct?

    Also what actually happens in this scan? Do I see anything yet?

    You should be seeing a heartbeat, a fetal pole and possible something a bit more. Depending on what they use, how far along you are as well.
