mishh, my DS is 15 months and doesn't say much at all. he says ta ta for goodbye, ta for thanks (confusing sometimes lol), mum, dad and nanna (I think). He understands a lot more so I guess it'll happen eventually.

Same with my DS, he is nearly 15 months and only says about 5 words. Although last night he did say "hi dadda", was very cute.

First word was mama around 9months.

Yeah DS was a babbler so real words took a while, can't remember off hand exactly when it was, it's written in the book. But I think the first one was "bub". I do remember mum was before dad though!!
But now 17 months he says so much with new words every day! The lastest is "la-la-na" which is banana

First words were mum at about 9 months, dad a few months later and duck at 13/14 months. Not much more till just recently (17 months) and he comes out with new words daily.
