Default Anyone been told boy/girl at an ultrasound and gotten a suprise at birth?

so I was just curious, as my csection date is fast approaching, we got the ultrasound technician to write it on a piece of paper and he wrote "congratulations most likely a girl" this was at a 32 week scan, so we have all pink stuff now, and I'm thinking oh my what if it comes out a boy!!

I know a couple of people: one got told a boy and were surprised by a girl and the other were told a girl and they had a boy.

This freaked me out approaching my due date, so I was very pleased when DD was indeed a girl.

My good friend was told she was having another girl, got her DD and DS all geared up for another sister.... and then she had a boy! Her DS was stoked he's got a brother.... but it took her a few days to adjust.. just the shock. Not that she 'minded' having a boy, just she wasn't expecting a boy as she'd been told it was a girl.

I often wondered about this and it panicked me! I had amniocentesis done so there was no mistaking the results from that!!

Eeek! I hate thinking about this! I was told we are having a girl, but since then I've met two different women who were both told "girl" and ended up having boys. I thought I'd get my OB to double check at my 36 week check up a couple of weeks ago as she has a little ultrasound device in her office, but she was held up in a meeting so I ended up just seeing a midwife who couldn't check for me.
I honestly didn't care either way, but since finding out at my 19 week scan I've bought everything for a girl and if the baby happened to be a boy he'd just have to get used to the colour pink!!
