    I'd put the majority on our mortgage (say $75-80K) do some small renos around the house and spend the rest on a car.

    Id put $80k on the mortgage and use $20k for home improvements and if we didnt need that much, it'd go towards a new car

    Without a question I would put it against my mortgage. If later we decided we wanted to have a little splurge on a holiday, I would have no hesitation in drawing some of it out.

    Definitely put it on the mortgage. We also have redraw so down the line I would do some of the small things that need doing like painting the interior out of the 100k.
