Default If you were turning 40........

What would you want for your birthday from a work colleague that is going to your party?

Nice bottle of wine or a gift voucher for a massage/beauty treatment would be nice.

nothing. i would not expect a present from a work colleague.

if i felt i had to buy for one, i would give a bottle of wine.

If it was a work friend, then something nice like flowers or (for a guy) a speccy imported type of beer.

If it was just a colleague who probably wouldn't do anything for me, maybe a card signed by everyone in the office .

Thanks everyone. I thought of a bottle of wine but hate the stuff so have no idea what is nice and what is crap (unless cheap=crap and expensive=good????). I know she drinks wine but don't know if it's red white sweet champers etc. also the party is at a pub so a bit iffy of taking a bottle there.

A bunch of flowers. I always give flowers for birthdays - just a $20 bunch would be fine but please, not from Woolies.
