I would have been utterly shocked too. What cows!! Don't worry, karma will bite them on the butt.

What is wrong with people?!? I'm so sorry you had that experience. I get sooo angry when I hear of stories like these. I'm glad someone told them off. I'd have given them a massive lecture.

Annabella - that story is GOLD! Good on her.
And OP, good on you too. I really hate those attitudes. I'm glad that someone else stuck up for you as well.

That is dispicable!! God I wish I'd been in that cue, would have given them a piece of my mind. They are just ignorant old cows, try not to take it to heart, as hard as it Is.

I have a friend who's very dark, but when her bub was born she was as white as the pure driven snow.
We went into a shopping center not long after her DDs birth, and two indian women literally GLARED at her as if to say either, "that CAN'T be your baby" or "you had a baby with a white man?".
My friend obviously felt ashamed that people would look at her and judge her based on the colour of her child. I almost felt her curling up inside. I can promise you, those two women got such a glare from me that if looks could kill they'd have been melting into puddles of goo where they stood!
My point is that racism is everywhere. It's totally unfair and even worse when they should darn well know better!
