I had insulin resistance, which caused high testosterone in my body. Which then caused a little bit of excess hair, like long and a bit darker facial hair around where men have side burns. Also I have cysts on my ovaries. This at time prevents eggs from being released and resulting in my cycle being very irregular. My norm at the moment is about 1 every 4 months. For the insulin resistance my doctor put me on metformin (diabetic tablet) which counteracts the insulin resistance and help a little with the weight loss.

With PCOS, it's a mixture of all things together. You can be diagnosed with just poly cystic ovaries, which is just the cysts on your ovaries.

Hi there, I'm 5,1, first time I was 85kg when I fell pregnant (only gained 5 kg, morning sickness is a great way to lose weight), second time I was 90kg and gained about 8 kg. First time was straight after stopping the pill, second time all it took was one rare time we had the energy to do it.

I just looked fat til about 6 months each time. I found wearing proper maternity tops like empire line etc accentuated my bump so I looked more pregnant rather than just fat.

And my bump wasn't very nice shaped either, I had the bump, then the gut hanging down at the bottom (picture a double bump!). So had to choose my wardrobe carefully.

No complications at all during pregnancy or birth. Dr never said he was concerned about my weight.

    Good luck!!
