We have a couple of those damned things - and when we were away we had a house sitter - apparently one of the zz things strated chirping and making noises late one night - she was so scared she rang her father to come over and investigate!!!
They locked it in the garage til we got home.

We had this weird collecter boony (some cricket guy?) statue that talks, it was a promotional thing my dads work had (bottle shop) so he gave us one (thanks... >_< dad)
Anywho, u couldnt replace the batteries once they ran out. And they did infact run out, we tested it and tested it. And nope dead.
Then about two months later in the middle of the night we hear a mans voice. Faint but enough to scare the crap out of us.
Boony was alive!!!
He was going nuts and wouldnt stop, dh took a hammer to it.
A week later we told dad and he said he had customers coming in all week saying their boonies were ressurecting too!!!

These are hilarious!
DS has a toy laptop that says colours, numbers and shapes plus a few phrases. It can be turned off and in the bottom of the toy box, but occasionally you still hear a muffled voice saying "are you home?". I think it's bugged by the government or something! *twilight zone music* lol
