Does anyones kids have zhu zhu pets? I was housesitting recently and one decided to turn itself on in the middle of the night and ride it's way off the table knocking an ornament with it. It gave me the fright of my life thinking that someone was in the house with me! Has anyone experienced a zhu zhu pet turning itself on?

No but we had an electronic jigsaw that made animal noises. It was in the other room and DH and I were on the couch and it started making moooing noises all by itself! DD was asleep so it def wasn't her turning it on or anything
Scared the life out of us!
It kept doing it for weeks until we threw it out.
Obviously had an electronic fault or something

Ohhh, how scary! That would freak me out. DD2 took a zhu zhu pet to bed once and managed to turn it on in the middle of the night and freak me out.
My guess is the batteries might be going. When my girls were little we had toys go off in the middle of the night and it was usually because the batteries were on their way out. Either that or .

Yes! Ours does that too. My DH absolutely hates it and keeps threatening to throw our one and only zhu zhu out. We will never buy another one.

Yep! And sometimes they are impossible to turn off. Then DD will come out and say, "like this Mum."

haha Most of my toys have come to life. Even after new batteries are put in. I must just be unlucky with electronics as all seem to have their own life haha like my crying doll it would just weeping in the middle of the night. Seriously ONLY at night after we were all in bed. It was so odd and annoying i should have just taken batteries out
