    Default Baby Shower Games

What better place to ask then here! I need baby shower games that are tried and tested - what have you found to be fun and gets everyone involved without embarrassing anyone...

There are masses on the net but I'd rather ones that people have tried and liked!

20 guests, 2 of which are men. I have thought so far of the one where you cut the string to guess the pregnant belly size, and have organised cards where the guests guess the baby's due date, gender etc and win a prize after the birth.

    TIA x

At my baby shower every one got 2 pegs to peg to their shirt and anytime some one said the word baby they would have to give a peg to the person who caught them saying it. The person at the end of the day with the most pegs won a prize. I think it was the best game out of all the ones we played

We placed a jelly babies in an ice cube rack, water and freeze.

Give everyone a cube, and on the count of 3. Everyone sucks on the cube. Who Evers baby is 'born' first wins.
Only major thing. Don't make the ice cubes too big or else people will struggle sucking on the cube, especially if it doesn't fit in their mouths.

Pin the dummy on the baby was a fun one at a baby shower I held.

I also melted chocolate and put it in nappies and you had to guess what chocolate it was (I've also used baby food in them as well!). That's also a favourite.

Oh, and similar to the jelly babies in ice cubes...

I bought little tiny plastic babies and froze 2 in ice cubes (twin baby shower). I gave everyone a cup with an ice cube in it, and whoevers ice cube melted first called out "my water broke"

I went to one on the weekend.
We played guess the baby food where we were blindfolded and tested it one at a time.
    Melted choc bars in nappies.
    Guessed the size of bump.
There was a bowl of rice and whoever got the most safety pins out while blindfolded won.
There was also a nursery rhyme quiz which I loved. Eg. The dish ran away with who? The little old lady ate a fly, then a spider, then what? Who were the three men in a boat etc.
We all had necklaces (string with a pin) and if you said the mum to be's name someone could take it.
There was also a big novelty bottle with jelly babies in and the closest guess to the amount won the bottle.

    Hope that helps a bit

I did a couple of fun active type ones:

    - put a paper plate on your head and draw a baby with a felt pen
    - buy some modelling balloons and make a baby (hard!)

Design a baby singlet. It's a nice little keepsake from the people at your party.
