I was hoping you ladies could give me some birthday present ideas for a good friend of mine who is a new mum. Something for her rather than her new LO.
I know there are pedicure, manicure, facial ideas but I know I would've found those hard to attend when my DD was new. Which is why I'm stumped on a gift idea. Please help

Birthday present ideas

My mum made me up a hamper off all my favourite foods and my fav bottle of wine. She also made me up a delicious cheese platter.
Then when I got home she had put some yummy meals in the freezer for me. Best gift ever!!, As hospital food was horrible and I loved being able to eat some of the foods I wasn't supposed to during pregnancy.
There was other things in the hamper too like bubble bath, nice pjs, a book, body lotion ect.
It really was an amazing gift. I gave one similar to a friend who had her baby in feb and she loved it so it could work as a joint new mum/birthday gift?

Maybe something from the body shop or stuff like that something to pamper herself with that also promotes a lil alone time for her

What about a pamper pack with a new top, some bath salts, shower gel, facial mask (get them from woolies etc), some chocolates, a bottle of wine or fake wine and a card.
It's sort of a mixed bag and she'll have the bath salts etc aren't things that would impact too much on time. Wine or fake wine and choccies for some endulging. A new top to feel special and a card to show she's special =)

A friend gave me some beautiful shower gel, scented candle, moisturiser and some lollies and chocolates. It was lovely to get a present for me and not bub!

Depends how new the bub is but maybe a "voucher" from you to mind her child while she goes to a movie/massage/dinner/manicure/pedicure.

Bub is only a week old

I would get her something to use to relax at home, she probably isn't ready to leave bub with anyone! Is there any TV shows you think she would enjoy? Or movies? A box set of a tv show with a block or 2 of chocolate and some cosy cute pajamas in a nice basket would be cute

Or if she is into clothes and shopping maybe a voucher to her fave store and a promise to come shopping with her & hold bub while she tries on clothes? I would have loved something like that!
