Default 6 weeks and bleeding for a week, any positive stories?

I've been bleeding mid cycle for a week, red blood. Which is very unlike me. Did a pg test on a whim and got a strong BFP on FRER and an on IC. We haven't dtd in a month so I know how far along I am.

There hasn't been clotting like with my first m/c, but it's been a steady, slow flow for a week now.

Please give me some positive stories of this happening and going on to have healthy babies

    Congrats on being 6 weeks.
Did AF show up as usual and now you are having another bleed?

I have had bleeding in my successful pregnancies, I hope this turns out positively for you.

I got a period when it was due 16 days ago, normal length and heaviness. I did a FRER a day before my period and it was negative. Then 5 days after my period stopped I started bleeding again.

How heavy was the bleeding ER? How soon do the tests drop off on how dark the line is after a m/c?

I had bleeding from week 8 until week 13 and have a beautiful healthy 9 month old baby boy.

When i had miscarriage (a couple of years earlier), it only took a couple of days for the positive pregnancy result to stop - that was around 5 weeks pregnant.

Bleeding without pain occurs in about 30% of pregnancies surprisingly, so I am sure everything will turn out ok.

    Congrats…how exciting.

I had bleeding every week or so during early pregnancy, with cramping and all... But it was old brown blood, and my pregnancy continued and DD came!

I had light bleeding until about week 10 and the pregnancy continued. I'm due to give birth to twins in a few weeks.

Thanks girls. It's comforting to know. It's bright red blood and has been for a week. I thought my test wouldn't have been as dark if I was m/c but being 6 weeks I'm thinking if I am, I might take up to a week.

I had bleeding for nearly 2 weeks when I was pregnant with DS. If you google 'breakthrough bleeding' there are heaps of stories of women who just had bleeding when their bodies expected a normal period. I was one of them

DS is now 3, so obviously it wasn't a bad thing for me .
