Default I think I just lost my mucus plug!

I just went to the loo, and found some brown/red stringy discharge... It started as clear/white this morning, not as thick but a lot. Does it mean I will go into labor soon? I don't need to call the hospital until contraction starts right?

I would make a call into the hospital and explain what has happened- often, if you suspect you have lost your plug, they might want to check you over, then send you home if appropriate. All the best

Always best to give them a call. They usually ask about the colour and details about it and let you know where to go from there. Plus then you've given them the heads up.

I called them up. Woman on the phone sounded a bit annoyed, I guess she must get paranoid pregnant women call up all the time.

She told me to call back if leaking or contractions start. I also did an internal exam a few days ago, the woman believed it may be caused by the exam. I am booked in for induction on wed anyway, so let's see if baby will come out before then.
