Default What are you doing these school holidays?

I'm thinking of things we can do. We will probably go out a few times but I need some ideas for home. I have 4 kids and while they often go and play outside or inside with Legos etc fine however when it's 2 weeks with just each other they start fighting unless we have set activities.

    So far I thought of
    - Turning the lounge into a cubby and camping in there.
    - Finger painting
    - Making playdoh
    - Fire and roasting marshmallows out side
    - Movies and popcorn at home
    - The experiment with bicarbonate soda vinegar and food colour that was mentioned here the other day.

What will you be doing with yours?

    Oh great thread

We will be going to the movies and the swim centre as payed activities!

We would love to camp in the back yard but it's freezing here at the moment. So a fire in the backyard then "camping" in our lounge room. Going to nannas for a sleepover and hopefully having a sleep over about house with one of DS's friends. Lots of painting, baking, play doh, friends over! Plus a couple of lazy pj days in there too!

We took the girls into the city on the train the other day. All we did was took the train in, walked to an icecream shop, caught a tram to a different station and took the train home again. they *loved* it!!!

Dinosaurs, dinosaurs, dinosaurs. Who knew kids could become so obsessed with dinosaurs so we will be taking trips into the museum to look at the dinosaurs!
Camping in the lounge room is a great idea!!
