    Default Green Kids Newborn anytimes??

    Hi everyone,

Just after some feedback from anyone who has the Newborn Green Kids anytimes...
I have always used Baby Beehinds and love them, but they take FOREVER to dry so I always need more nappies.
Am thinking the OSFM will be too bulky on a newborn and would love a much trimmer fit, hence why I thought these might be good, and have heard great things about green kids OSFM pockets...
    Thanks in advance!!

Hi there, can't help you with the newborn nappies but we have the OSFM nappies.

They are fine but some of them haven't worn very well. I bought them when I was pregnant and put them away, but didn't notice that some of them the stitching was coming away on the tabs, and the elastic at the rear. Since I've been using them, they've gotten a lot worse, maybe a third of them have broken or damaged. Mostly the elastic and stitching at the rear.

I was quite disappointed as I had read good things about their quality and customer service. But I emailed them and they weren't very helpful to be honest. Even though the nappies were new and unused when I emailed them, they refused to discuss it as they has been purchased more than 60 days ago. I would expect more than 60 days from a nappy!

Anyway, I think they have recently had a change in management and since then maybe things have gone downhill a bit?

Just thought I'd give my experience?

    Thanks MamaNurture,

Definately keen to here your experience, this is my reason for staying with mostly Baby beehinds for so long, they are great quality, I have nappies that are 4 years old and have been used on 3 kids, with perfect elastic and no other issues, but have tried a few other brands and they haven't lasted

And that is crazy that they give you 60 days! I am pregnant also and trying to put a few away to avoid a big cost when bub is here, I would expect them to last too!

Keen to here anyone else's experiences, good or bad with green kids, particularly the newborn size......

Sorry, I've never tried the newborn size, so can't comment on that. I just found all the pocket style nappies leaked terribly on a newborn so would stick to fitteds until 6 months or so. I won a Green Kids OSFM about 9 months ago, the cover is still in as new condition but the hemp insert is starting to get small holes in it. Surprising as none of my bamboo or cotton inserts have suffered the same fault. I just won't be buying any hemp in the future, maybe it doesn't like hard water.

Thanks for that, will stick to my bubblebubs bam bams with a cover then as planned , I just thought the green kids option might be fast drying, but definately don't want todeal with leaks!
