    Default housewarming gift ideas needed

    what house warming gift have you given or received and really liked?

    need to buy one for a friend who has everything for house anyway.. they aren't starting new so what do i get?

    things i have thought of.. nice wine glasses.. vase.. nice candles..

    dont know!!

    Not sure if it would work but I received a basket with lots of different herbs and spices and spreads and tinned food from a friend when I moved into my house. I thought it was great.
    Maybe a candle or something

    Eta maybe vase would be useful

    How about a lucky bamboo plant? They come in some really nice decorative pots and glassware

    Love the gift basket idea! You could add a bottle of wine, nice chocolates etc too

    great ideas! gift basket it great.. not like getting somethin they prob won't use just to get a gift.. can get perishables..
    and the plant thing is a good one for them too.. they like chilli!

    What about going to a deli and buying some more expensive items, that people may not buy themselves on a day-to-day basis. they are things that will definitely be used.
