Well if you're a freak, I am too.
I was so excited about giving birth both times. (I have just had my 2nd)
Everyone kept asking if i was freaking out, and all I could say was not even a little. I'm too excited.
I think that this is what helped me to centre myself when I went into labour and had my babies. I just had this knowledge that my body was made for this and would be able to do it.
I also decided that no matter what, I would not be having an epi. Both natural labours, but smallish babies. 6lb 7oz and 6lb 13oz.
Enjoy it. I believe your mental state in regards to giving birth has a lot to do with how the actual birth goes.
Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck with everything!

I love giving birth. Being pregnant I could take it or leave it, but the whole labour and birth process I could do a million times.

After 2 c-secs, I was pumped to birth naturally. Loved it loved it loved it. Best experience of my life. I want another one because it was awesome! lol. The led up was so exciting and I loved feeling those first pangs that something was happening...!

Tasha I think you're so right.... Obviously I haven't been in the situation before but I agree that mindset has a lot to do with your outcomes & your experiences with your two certainly backs that up

I'm pretty excited this time round. I was quite scared the first time just because I didn't know what to expect, but this time I have a firm idea of what I want with my birth and am really looking forward to seeing if I can achieve it.
