What are the nicest gestures or gifts you have done or given to your other half? I am always looking for new things to do for DH, plus I love hearing these stories

Last year for Valentines Day I got him tickets to Top Gear Live. For his birthday I got concert tickets for his favorite band. Tickets to the World Snooker Championships.
A few years back I got a hamper sent to him - beer, chips, nuts and some chocolate. Everything he needs for a boys night in! One year I was feeling cheeky (and knowing he'd forget) I got a dozen red roses delivered to him at the panel beaters he was working at. Then followed that up by getting flowers delivered to him at the pub poker he was hosting. (I'm not allowed into a florist any more *evil grin*)

I bought him and his friend tickets to Simple Minds a few years back for his bday.
This birthday I organised a surprise bday party managing to track down some old friends... he was very surprised and happy to see them!

We were so broke last year and it was coming up to DP's 40th birthday. I sold my car so I could buy him a nice present.
So now, I'm carless as we are still broke

For our wedding gift I got DH and I a joint present - personalized number plates with our married initials on them.
For his 30th I got him an engraved pewter mug.
Before he was to become a father I used to do extreme sports experiences too - skydiving, rally cars, etc
I also love putting together a bunch of small gifts all wrapped individually. It's such fun watching him open them.

I made a collage of pictures of the two of us.
I bought a heart shaped plate and arranged his favourite lollies on it.
For birthdays and Christmas he usually decides what he wants so I can't surprise him.
