I have had a cold for about a month it isn't a really bad one so I don't need to take cold and flu tablets just some Panadol to keep any aches and pains away. Anyway after a few days I think I'm getting better and it's like I catch a fresh cold. I went to the doctor and he gave me some antibiotics which don't seem to be doing a great deal. I've just started using nasal spray as I can't breathe through my nose now.
Anyone have any ideas how to knock this cold one the head. Also my son is sick with the same thing.

If you have aches and pains it is Not a cold. Flu involved bad aches, fever, severe lethargy... But if it's been going on for a month I doubt its flu either. Sounds like you could actually have a sinus infection quite possibly (I have had LOTS in my lifetime) or allergic rhinitis
