    Default Pregnyl or BFP?

Ok, disclaimer, I know this is a silly question and I am going for BT tomorrow but....just wanted to get opinions.

First IVF cycle going all the way. Had no OHSS leading up to, or immediately after EPU (which went really well) BUT when I had my first 1500 iu pregnyl booster 4 days after ET I started to really bloat. I was so uncomfortable I couldn't really move, bend down, sleep, etc. I think I had very mild OHSS.

I had my second and last 1500iu pregnyl booster the morning of the 20th June, so 6 days ago and continued to have the very mild OHSS symptoms until this Saturday gone. The discomfort has gone but I'm still a bit "twingy" and bloated and still can't fit in most of my clothes so still waiting for it to go down.

Although I swore to myself I would not test, I caved. I thought that if it came up negative, then I can prepare for my blood test tomorrow. So now I don't know.

Yesterday I tested and there is a clear bold line, not one of those really faint ones, but not as bold as the control line.

I tested again this morning FMU and there was a clear bold line again. When I watched it it wasn't as dark as the one yesterday, but certainly not extremely faint. When I came back half hour later, it was the same depth as the one from yesterday.

So, do you think it's still the pregnyl? I was hoping if the pregnyl was still in the system it would come up faint at 5/6 days after the last booster.

Tomorrow is my BT but if it's a BFN I need to prepare myself to expect it...any advise?

PS - I am feeling very crampy, tired and hungry but of course this can be progesterone. No sore boobies....

Nit much advice but I've been thru it all inc the IVF. Can't remember how long it takes for pregnyl to b out of ur body but I know I had +ve pg test around the same time and my tests had very dark lines, so it cud be a combo of both. Good luck sweety.

Sorry to crash the ivf section, but from what I know from friends in your situation and what I've read, pregnyl can stay up to one week. If you have a strong BFP at 6 days after..... fx for you!

So Atropos, is it likely to be a false pregnyl induced result? I've googled a bit and read that for some it left after 4 days, but if I put money on it, I'm sure mine would stay in for a week, just to play with my mind...

I think it's a week at most but it would likely be almost gone if it was going to last a full week. There is probably a good chance you are UTD, time will tell. Fingers crossed!

Thanks everyone....I can honestly say in the 2 years I have been ttc I have never ever seen those two lines - I thought it was a myth lol.

I guess time will tell. I will do one last test in the morning, so if it is super faint or different I can prepare myself...I will let you know what the jury says after the blood test tomorrow.

    I guess I can say I don't feel pregnant
