I was in bed - chilling out .. the day before the EDD ...

thankfully a friend had told me to have towels everywhere .. I was lying on three towels .. I remember hearing (or feeling?) a pop .. and then it was a massive gush - just like in the movies ... it was everywhere .. I grabbed the towels .. held them between my legs and waddled to the shower .. where it kept going .. lol

DS was stubborn though - 14 hours of labour .. and still had to have a c-section .. I didn't dilate .. and he had the cord around his neck twice ..

all births are different though but I would keep towels in the car

    xx

Hehehey waters broke just as I got home from a bus ride home!!
I sat on the couch and remember thinking how embarrassing it is that I peed my pants..... Lol untill I couldn't stop it. It wasn't a gush but it wasn't a trickle either..... I spose it was a small gush and enough to leak onto jeans but not enough to drip lol and I filled a pad in 30 mins sorry tmi

I was also in bed and felt a pop then realising what was about to happen, rolled out of bed to stop everything getting wet and sat on the loo.
I thought it was all out but when i went to delivery suite the next morning and was examined more starting pouring out! I took there apologizing to the midwife. Very undignified. Lol

with ds i had laid on my bed to rest and just shut my eyes when I felt really strange then a pop I slid straight off the bed and whoosh I then waddled off to have a shower.

With my dd I'm not sure exactly when they broke but I was leaking after every contraction. So I was at home

I was at my DH's work Xmas party lol! It was midnight and the party had finished so I ducked to the toilet before driving home. When I was about to pull my pants up a trickle went down my leg and on the floor...I knew something wasn't right and we high tailed it back home..Being 36 +5 pregnant, my husband thought it'd be his last night to have a few drinks and so i was driving and was just shaking with nerves. I had no labour pains. I went to bed and the same thing happened at 2.30am, I had a pad on and it was all wet...not very bad though, another trickle. Called hospital at 7.30am and was told to come straight in where they confirmed it was my waters and started the ball rolling. DS was born 3.14pm that afternoon!!
