Default Need help with gluten free cake recipe

I'm hoping someone out there can help. I need to cook a gluten free, lactose free cake. Does anybody have any recipes or ideas? I would greatly appreciate any help/tips anyone has!

    Thanks in advance :-)

I just use Orgran flour, Nuttelex in place of butter, and rice milk. Beware of cross contamination. Don't use nuttelex if it has been used on regualar bread, and remember that flour particles remain in the air for up to a week, so if you have used regular flour in the week leading up to it, there may be traces of gluten.

If it doesn't work, you can always buy the boxes of gluten free cakes.. They're delicious!

And you've got to be careful that it doesn't turn out very dry if you're making it from scratch.

Deliciously Free mud cakes are yummy. I find the orgran packet cakes to be very sweet and grainy.

Basco cakes are not lactose free, they have milk in the mixture.
