Nothing is ever written in script when it comes to going into labour but it sure sound like your getting pretty close. I definately don't think you will make it to 40 weeks. I'd be making sure my bags are packed ready to go inthe next week or 2 at a streatch.

Good Luck hope it all goes really well

It's some good signs you've got there. Baby having dropped and the pains and mucous, sounds like you're preparing for labour. But could also be false labour and you could have a few starts of this before it actually happens. My second I had a few false starts, but I had the pains, back pain, they almost seemed like this was it and then nothing. You could always go in see your doctor and see if you're dilated if you want to see how things are really progressing. Otherwise I'd say its some good practice.

Check this out it talks about everything your experiencing and says on the second page you may only be a week away.
