    Default Stretch & sweep success?

Had a stretch& sweep done this morning at 40 weeks and 1cm dilated with baby number 2. Midwife said the chances of it sending me into labour were 50/50,. Wondering what results others have had? And if it worked for you, how long did it take for you to go into labour?

    Thanks

I had one with DD on the Thursday when I was 4cm dilated - nothing happened and was induced on the Monday. I had one with DS 11am, I was also 4cms dilated. Waters broke at home 7.45pm, DS born 9.35pm 😃

I had one with DS1 at 7 days overdue, then nothing happened until day 9 when I had a show. Then really minor contractions, so ended up being induced on day 10. Good luck hope it works for you!

I had one done with DD1 10 days past due.

I had one done with DD2 at 4 days past.

Both worked, I went into labour exactly 12 hours after both times!
