Found these on my 8 day olds neck this afternoon. They look like uncoloured moles or pimples. Has anyone seen anything similar and should I be concerned??

They look like skin tags to me.

I'm not too sure what those are. Is there fluid inside them? Any other symptoms?
It could be a form of a bacterial infection on bubbys skin, but I'm not a Dr...
I would definitely take bub to the Dr but try not to stress, easier said than done I know!
Keep us posted on how it goes.

They look a bit pusy although I can't be sure. Perhaps I could ring the pregnancy/mothers hotline and ask, does that hotline still exist? Haven't used it for years!!

If they look like they a full of pus (it's hard to see in the picture), then I'd go to the GP and get them checked.

Not sure if this helps but there are the 2 larger ones and 2 itty bitty ones on the left of her neck. They don't seem irritated or too red. There aren't any drs open on a Saturday where I live so I might give the chemist a go in the morning and see what they say? Do you think it's worthy of an A&E trip or just wait til Monday?
Sorry I can't explain it better! I appreciate the help though

If they have a little pus in them then it does seem bacterial....and if it's on bubby's neck under the chin area then it could be from sweat or vomit that's been sitting in there on bubs warm skin.
My 12 week old DD is a happy chucker and she gets red rashes on her chin and cheeks if she's spewed overnight in bed. Maybe your bub has had a bit of a reaction to that area being moist and warm?
I'd call the help line for advice, but if bub is not out of sorts, still feeding ok with no other symptoms then a trip to the Dr on Monday is probably ok? Unless you notice more appear or other symptoms develop, then a trip to hosp might be the go?

I took her up to A&E to just be sure, they weren't worried, even though she has one in her ear now?? They did suggest a sweat rash type thing from milk though.
If she gets a fever I'll go back straight away. Will keep thermometer next to the bed tonight!!!
