I always had one over the cot with no problems but am really liking the idea of putting it over the change table instead. Must try that next time!

I have one on each too. Changetable has a bright fisher price musical mobile, it's a greast distraction during the day, I turn it to the side before night so that they didn't get distracted by it during night changes. The cot has a handmade mobile with red owls and stars, it isn't musical and mainly for decorative purposes.

Change table only - didn't want one over the cot for fear of distraction.
