Thought balloon for all the stunned looking babies: "Who are these cheesy people? I didn't sign up for this!". And lovelymum, I agree re epidurals although I recall a UK version midwife telling a woman in transition that she couldn't have one because she hadn't gone private! I didn't think that was very respectful either!
