Ideas for Ds 1st and Dh 25th birthday!!!!
They share their birthday which is exciting!
I would love the help of some creative minds to come up with some themes, creative food etc for their party!
Baby doesn't really have anything he is particularly interested in unfortunately (like elmo etc) i was thinking turtles (lil cute ones)
Dh is maori, loves hip hop dancing and music. he isn't into sport or much else so it makes it kinda hard.
I want this day to be really special as its obviously the first Birthday they have shared.
Its really significant to us and i want us to be able to cherish those special memories forever!
Thanks in advance to everyone who replies.
I really appreciate your help

What about a letter theme? So the first letter of both of their names?
Do food that starts with those letters and decorate in colours that start with the letters too.
And if you wanted to you could get everyone to dress up as something that starts with the letters.

You could do a music or band theme? So you'd have toy instruments, cakes with little trumpets and things on... maybe cupcakes with musical notes on them. Cardboard records and musical notes hanging like party ******ers (most party shops sell these, or you could make your own). It would give a bit of a 'fiesta' feel to the party

i would go a traditional maori theme, especially is it bubs first birthday and he is half maori.
organise a hangi, get some food from the new zealand shop, maybe organise a black and white theme. out of the two, your hubby will be the one that remembers it and before long you will be inundated with kiddie themes!
