Hmmm I honestly agree with ur dh sorry. I don't think it's a good time to take your dd. it will be far from a happy holiday. Your mum is likely to be groggy and uncomfortable and possibly irritable. Your dd may be very good but I don't think she needs to see all those things just yet.
Really it's yours and your dh's decision. You really should both come to an agreement together. You both have valid reasons but really is it that necessary to take her? Sorry if I sound harsh.
