Default Sids and Kids IVF Support Group

To all the gorgeous mums and dads on this forum, like I, that have endured IVF and lost their angels, no words can give you the comfort that you need, but I do have something that may help in some small way that has really helped my husband and I.

When our precious son passed away at the start of the year, 11 days after birth, Sids and Kids were an amazing support to us. Now having just started back on the IVF journey, we are finding it incredibly difficult to say the least. IVF is hard enough ... juggling this while desperately mourning for your child is unbearable.

Sids and Kids has just started a support group for those of us that are going through IVF and have lost a child through late miscarriage, still birth, neonatal death or a child up to 5 years of age. I attended the first group session a month ago and it was very good. The next one is next Tuesday evening 7.30-9.30pm at the Sids and Kids Malvern Office in Malvern Road. It is an opportunity to meet others in our situation, discuss the challenges that we face and and access trained counsellors. This support group is free.

I am so sorry for anyone reading this message considering attending as it means you are in my position and goodness I know the pain and heartache you feel.

Love and light to each and everyone of you

    Dear Spot

I know you are probably far far away from this forum but just wanting to send out my thoughts and prayers to you and your DH. I still shed tears for you. I hope the pain is easing and that the sun is starting to shine back into your beautiful souls, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.

    Take care xx
    YY
