I take Fefol which is iron and folic acid together. It's at a therapeutic dose and doesn't give me constipation like all the others as its slow release!

Hi, great advice her on iron. I just want to add, other than fibre and loads offluid you could also take a high dose broadband magnesium supplement, it realy helps with constipation and it does not cause the bloatedness and cramps.i take wagner's magnesium forte 400. Apparently it just helps to add more fluid to the feaces so it does not get so hard and stuff you up. Talk to your ob, about this first, mine said it was great.

Very interesting info about the magnesium, I think I will ask my ob too! Ferro Grad is also slow release.
