Limbo Land!

I don't know if a thread like this exists, or how interested anyone else will be. However, I thought I'd make a place to chat for those of us who have just had a BFN from our most recent cycle, but who don't yet know when their next IVF attempt will be.

You can see how crapola my first cycle went this month in my sig. I was living in Perth, but moved to Brisbane on Saturday (DH was relocated for work), the day after my pg BT! I'm in complete limbo land now.. waiting for my Medicare rebate for my first cycle so we can see how much we need to save for the next one. And it will be a lot, as IVF seems to cost a lot more in Brisbane than at my current clinic. Not only that, but I need to find a specialist here, get a new referral from DH's GP, get his remaining 4 straws of frozen stuff sent to Brisbane, along with our fertility testing records and the results from last cycle, then maybe we can start thinking about when we can do ICSI #2.

I can tell the waiting is going to do my head in, which is why I created this thread. Hopefully there are others in a similar postition to me for whatever reason. If so, please feel free to vent here.

I'm in limbo land as well for the next few months.

Fs is on holidays until 16 July and I go on holidays when he gets back, so it will be September before my next FET stupid long cycles!

Hi bluemarlin, sorry you're in this sucky situation too. Where are you off to on holidays, anywhere exciting? I've been feeling like I've been on a mini break the last few days; DH and I are still staying in serviced apartments right next to the city, but tomorrow the removalists are delivering our furniture and stuff to our new apartment. So the "holiday" ends tomorrow morning... I'm going to have my work cut out for me for the next few days (at least!) unpacking and organising everything. We're going from a house in Perth to an apartment here, so it's going to be a challenge fitting all our stuff in. It will probably be fairly cluttered, but it's worth it for where we're living I think.
