Im about 90% certain my ds#2 will eventually be dx with ODD ontop of his asd and spd and r/e language disorder...

Anything he is told or ask to do is met with a NO and a massive meltdown if forced. He will go against anything u say even if the outcome makes him miserable. He struggles a lot with conforming to any type of structure (which makes going to any sort of daycare, near impossible, we have been told by the preschool we are looking at that if they do accept him, he wont be able to attend outside of the hours his aide will be there (4 hours per day Max)

It is very concerning, i worry about the future with him A LOT, i dont want him to be a nightmare of a teen/adult.

I suspect DS1 is ODD ontop of his ADHD but no official diagnosis as yet. I'll be bringing it up with his pead again at the next appointment.

My DS went to an early intervention preschool and was only allowed to attend the days that his aide was there and only from 10-2 .He also completely ignores any directions still doesn't participate in Any activities unless it interests him his aides words were "unless it interests izak I'm not going to bother insisting he participate as his tantrums are Increasingly violent " he doesn't listen at all I an scream at him until I'm blue in the face and he just doesn't care . I ends up getting his diagnosis after the local baptist church preschool expelled him for his behavior and reported me to docs because of his behavior I went under a voluntary early intervention program and they provided me with all resources we needed and referrals to peads speech therapists and secured his place at the early intervention preschool
He's now in school and his teacher does struggle with him but he also has his aide in class and playground has recently started Concerta slow release Ritalin and melatonin for sleep and it's a god send. He does still have his moments but without meds to help not controll his condition I don't think we would be doing as well as we are now. Compared to how we were before diagnosis I do worry about him being a horrid teen /adult but just remind myself that I will do my best and ensure I raise him well. To find his ODD. They gave the preschool and myself a questionaire to fill out and got his diagnosis from there. Hang in there x
