Hmmm. Difficult. I can empathise with the dad as its a difficult age and the daughter would have done what she wanted regardless but.. I feel as though I could never condone sexual activity of my child. She is a child. And her boyfriend was much older.

I have to wonder why a Father would let a 14 year old 'child' dictate the terms to him.

I also think the Father should have reported the boyfriend to the Police upon meeting him and realising his age etc, especially as it now turns out that he has had a prior conviction for carnal knowledge with a minor in the past.

It's a bit strange. This boyfriend was 12 years older than his 14 year old daughter & he was ok with them sleeping together so she didn't run away? I wouldn't let a man of that age near my daughter let alone give them permission to have sex in my house. I'm glad father & boyfriend are being punished.

This! I would of been doing all I could to get that pig of a man away from my 14 year old daughter.

She was 14 - why is she allowed to have a 26 year old boyfriend anyway? He is supposed to be the parent, not the buddy.

Bonkers is offline wishes she was a glow worm. A glow worm's never glum, 'cos how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out of your bum?

This is a excellent question. I'm sure there was a way that he could of kept them apart and kept her home.
He should of got the police involved.

She will prob now just go get with some other man who is older.

I can understand letting a 16 year old have a relationship with an 18 year old but that age gap is too big - his daughter is still a child.
