Default Anyone had to buy seat belt extenders for the car?

If so, where did you buy them from? We need to get at least one, perhaps two, for our Commodore as we put all the seats in today to test and it was absolutely crazy trying to put one belt in, and then looking for the other. I figured there was a way around it, and I've done a google and found a few sites.

So where did you buy them? They are safe right? I know it was on the RACQ site but nothing like other parents reviews to actual give you a true indication.

Thanks I had a look in pram warehouse today for them, no luck. There's a baby sale at one baby shop nearby tomorrow so I'll check there.

They come up on ebay but I'm not sure about using ebay for seat belts? I'm sure they are new.

I got mine from ebay :/
It was brand new and just clicks into the buckle on the existing seatbelt.

I'd happily buy another form there they do make things soooo much easier when you have 3 seats across the back.

I got mine from some baby shop, I paid about $50 I think, mine's for a Commodore as well. It is so so so awesome.
I don't think I;d be confident in buying one off ebay though.

I looked in three baby shops today - no extenders plus I was told they aren't legally allowed because of a change in safety standards. Instead they apparently make seats with space for the belt buckle.

Except the buckle isn't the problem!! You can't fit your hand down to put the belt through. I called Holden today to ask and they don't do it, they suggested RACQ like pp mentioned.

If its illegal why would RACQ sell them?

With 3 carseats using a 5pt harness I never felt the need for extenders, but with dd in a booster it is unsafe to have the buckle inaccessible in an emergency. I can do them up, but that isn't the problem.
