My DP is fifo at the moment and on a pretty tough roster so he isn't home much. When he is home, he's pretty good. He's an amazing cook, so when he's home i usually come home to a wonderful dinner and dessert. He is a rare male creature who actually like's cleaning the house, so he will do half the housework with me, and will clean up the kitchen and everything. He also walks the dog lots when he is home, which is great (he's a big dog) and he's a handyman type of guy so will fix all the stuff around the house, and do all the lawns and stuff.
I know i'm pretty lucky, the only downside is that he can be a bit anal about cleaning So i'd say we do half half(when he's home) but he does most of the cooking because the loves it. Having said that, i organise all our finances and house "admin" type stuff like paying bills, booking our holidays, organising christmas etc.

- Home, where my life lies waiting, silently, for me.
gets DD up, dresses her and gives her breakfast (I sleep in)
gets DD out of the bath and dresses her (I shower first, pick up toys/tidy books then get ready for her story and boob before bed)
does the dishes every night (Im boobing DD and putting her to bed at this time)
washes the nappies and clothes every night (I hang/fold/put away the washing)
brings wood in every second day
mows the lawns/pruning/etc each weekend (I do a bit of weeding if I can get outside)
Changes the linen each week (I cant lift the mattress/doona anymore)
Once a week DD goes to daycare and I do a big house clean

My DH does all the outside chores voluntarily. Inside chores are usually mine but if I ask DH he'll do anything. Sometimes I wish he had the forethought to do things without me asking but I figure I can't complain too much.

- cooks most nights
- stack the dishwasher in the evening
- unpacks the dishwasher and cleans the kitchen in the morning
- does the ironing
- makes our work lunches
- make the bed
- do the washing and folding
- clean the cat litter
- clean the bathrooms
- mop and vacuum
- weed the gardens
- do the grocery shopping
- dust the surfaces
We both 'tidy' when it's necessary.
We both work full time.

My DH is wonderful. He's such a Handson dad with our newborn son.
He's cleaning the house tomorrow because I've been up all night with the baby, although my mum is here to help out.
My DH hates mess though, so he is wonderful at helping out around the house, he just gets side tracked sometimes though.

At the moment I'm in hospital so hubby is doing everything. But usually he does all the folding, cleans bathrooms, if I cook he cleans up (and vice versa). I study full time so when he isnt traveling or work I expect him to do 50% of the work at home
