Hi All, Just been reading through a few pages and thought I'd share my experience. I got engaged when I was 20, stopped taking the pill 6 mnths later, knowing it would take a while to get my cycle back. It took me 12 months to get my cycle back! I got pregnant the first ovulation, but lost it at 9 weeks. it then took another 6 months to get my cycle back again....when I did fall preganant again it was perfect, had a wonderful pregnancy (40+2) and had a wonderful homebirth with no drugs and no complications. LMM was 7lb13oz and really healthy. I was breastfeeding and got pregnant again (didn't get a period) when she was 10 months old! (oops) and again had a good preganancy (bit of morning sickness) and a 3hr homebirth with PWM and she was 8lb5oz, she's 10 months now so......lol. I guess what i'm saying is that it might take a while for your body to recover after the pill (horrible stuff) and your body will know when you're ready. Dont stress about it, its more likely to happen if you are happy, healthy and stress free. Good luck, stay strong. And hopefully your dreams will come true soon
