Default FREE personal training to prevent pregnancy diabetes

An exciting and very important research study is now underway in Perth that requires volunteers. The Cycle Study is examining whether a 14 week supervised home-based exercise program (14-27 weeks of gestation) can reduce the incidence and severity of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in women with a history of the condition.

    Eligibility criteria:
~ 13 weeks pregnant or less
~ Had GDM in a previous pregnancy
~ Located in Perth up to 28 weeks gestation

    Participants receive:
~ 2 FREE health appraisals (at 13 and 28 weeks gestation)
~ A 1 in 2 chance of participating in a FREE personal training programme in their own home, 3 sessions a week for 14 weeks (Valued at over $4000!)

For more information or to see if you're eligible, please call our Cycle Study Midwife on 9340 1705 or visit www.thecyclestudy.com.au.

Study approved by the Women and Newborn Health Service Ethics Committee (Registration Number 1881/EW).
