Ok the title may be a bit dramatic. But I have spent the last few weeks breaking in a new coffee cup... Its a breast cancer support mug and I luff it and tonight when hubby made me a coffee I have discovered a crack, yes that is right a crack in my new favourite cup... I know I can get past this but yanno i have invested many early morning coffees in this cup... It saw me through some hectic assignments and now I don't want to find a new favourite mug
I will grieve tonight and move on

Oh no I have two favourite coffee cups, a travel mug and a tea cup, I'd be upset if I couldn't use them

I had a favourite cup, one of the 'two hands' celebrity ones. Everyone knew it was my cup but a friend made herself a tea in it (dont know why when we have a hundred more) had it on the side of the couch and knocked it off. She then tried to replace it with a totally different cup, not even the same shape. No it does not make it better and to tell you the truth a year later I am still grieving because I see the mugs in shops but never the same one. It was the Heidi Klum one

My hubby is just like you.
He gets a hand made coffee cup every year as a present for playing at the Anzac service, He will only drink out that cup until one of the kids break it. He has to wait for Anzac day to get another.

I know that devastation!! Not too dramatic. I have a cup I drink tea from only (I only like fine china for tea! I'd be devastated too if it broke). And I have a particular coffee or hot chocolate one at work.
I blame Monday!!!

I had a favourite too, I bought it with my best friend while I was on holidays, mine was a blue spotty one and hers was pink, one day I turned around and knocked it off the bench, I don't think anything has fallen to the floor so slow in all my life! (except the daiquiri glass my brother nicked from the casino on my 18th, my first legal drink)
I found a new one, a blue one and heaven help one of my children should it break lol, especially now! Hahaha
