    Default EBF baby hasn't had a bowel movement in 2 weeks

    He is 4 months old and his last poo was 2 weeks ago. The one before that was a 10 day interval and when it came it was normal in size and soft. He doesn't appear constipated at all and is generally happy but I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to move things along a bit? He hasn't started solids yet and is breast fed 6 times a day

    I had this issue with DD about a month ago now. A friend suggested a splash pear juice heavily diluted with boiled water. DD did a poo within half an hour. I did it because she was clearly screaming in pain. If she hasn't done a poo in 3 days now I give her the pear juice again. I've only had to use it twice. Good luck

    Thanks! He has actually gone now, just half an hour since I wrote this post! Took me another half hour to clean up the mess! He is fine though. 2 weeks just seemed like such a long time
