Default Day one of menstrual cycle for AMH test??

    Hi everyone
I have to get an AMH test done, day three of menstrual cycle. I am confused what to actually consider as day one as I just started spotting (5.30pm), is this the first day or would tomorrow be when it will be more full on?? I can't call my FS as it is Sunday and tomorrow is public holiday and not sure he works Tuesday (though I will try calling then.)
Just would like to know what other people's views were who have had to have this test??
    Thanks

Hey Stormgirl, glad you can get your AMH done . The blood tests for AMH can supposedly be done any time of your menstrual cycle, it's the other hormone rests that need to be done day 2 or 3 such as estrogen, progesterone, LH, FSH etc. Day 1 of your cycle is first day of full flow

    Wish
    xx

Yes I had AMH on totally random day in my cycle. My clinic classes day 1 of your period as when you wake up bleeding.

Well I rang specilist today and receptionist told me that the day I start showing any signs of bleeding is day one! I had few spots on Sunday night then nothing until yesterday morning where it was your usual full on period. In my opinion yesterday was day one but she said that I had to take Sunday as day one so I went on her advice so I can put the blame on her if it's wrong! Just don't want to have to have another blood test again as it will delay things.
If it's ok to get tests done on day two then I will be covered anyway!
