Fx for another +opk today at 2pm, if it's negative I'll be so annoyed!
Even if it is, the egg survives for 12 hours after it has been released. The timing is pretty close to ideal, actually. As for DH being sick, don't worry a jot...most men can be very easily convinced! And if it's just an URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection), it wont affect conception.

My OPK became positive sometime between 3 and 7pm last night. We dtd everyday from Thursday until last night.
But since I know O is imminent I thought we should try and dtd this morning again to make sure we give our best shot at catching that egg.

Did not happen and I am a little upset, I feel as if we have missed that one time where we would have catch little eggie.

Do you think tonight is too late? I know it can't hurt to try but realistically, might be too late right?

    Thanks
    Lili
Not too late at all. The +ve OPK indicates ovulation will happen within 24-36 hours. Have sex tonight and tomorrow night to maximise your chances. Tonight is definitely not too late.

Thanks for all your advice your fantastic!
DH got home early so I finished work early we managed to dtd at 2pm today and will be going again later tonight and maybe in the morning also wink wink.
Yep URTI infection so that's good it doesn't affect the little spermies. Don't worry he's was still keen, he's been away for a week.
