Default Relief for a head cold?

I'm 12w pregnant and have had this delightful head cold for almost a week - does anyone have any tips on things I can take/do to help get rid of it or even just ease the symptoms a little? (it started as just a crazy sore throat then went to my nose, now I'm coughing a little and have a bad sinus headache constantly)

Hubby & I are currently in Vietnam on hols and I haven't been able to find any lemons here Have been drinking lots of juice though & a ton of water cos it's so hot. We have had about 6 flights in 10 days though, let's face it that probably hasn't helped!

Agh so miserable (it's 4am here, I've been awake ages because I can't breathe thru my nose)

Subbing. I'm 27 weeks and I want to know too! One thing that helps a little is a saline nasal spray- I've been using Fess.

I've also had a horrible headcold and am nearly12 wks pregnant. I found taking panadol and a nasal decongestant spray to help. The spray I got from the chemist and they checked it was safe to be used in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It's so hard to come across anything over here - the pharmacies try to be helpful but don't speak much English & everything is written in Vietnamese! Eek! We did manage to get some paracetamol & a salt water gargle but that's all. I suppose I could drip some up my nose??

Lots of fluids - hot lemon drinks.
Garlic - I swallow cloves of the stuff!
Vicks - Pop some in a bowl of steaming water and whack a towel over your head.

    Feel better soon
