How long have you had them for? I wouldn't give them back, I consider as soon as your money is in her hands & the things are in your hands they are yours & the money is hers. Not your problem if she spent the money on other things & now prob can't afford to buy more clothes now she is pregnant.

Just wow... You paid for them, they are yours. She has no right to demand them back.

Going to stalk later to see her reply!

I would never ask for something back that I've given to friends for free - a politically incorrect term involving Indians comes to mind here!!

OP great reply, nice and civil, many wouldn't have been as restrained - I keep refreshing hoping to see her next wacky response!!

I hope she lives up to it, is anyone else going to be a tad disappointed if she just says 'no worries' lol

Thanks for calling me an Indian giver. Although not sure if I can be classed as one seen as though it was a mutual understanding that these items were going to be returned to me eventually and had already been offered back to me a few months prior.

Sounds like she thinks she did you an awesome favour selling them to you 'cheap' so she must reason that she can use them again and then be nice and give them back...
I bet she won't respond to your txt as she'll be outraged haha
Why didn't she pick up the phone?

    Certified nutjob.

'I didn't want to make a deal 4 them, I am just going to borrow them until she outgrows the biggest ones? Don't want to keep them so no need for a sale deal. If theyre all together no problem i'll get them washed when we're done with them so it's exactly like new. You and K don't even know if u can even have another bby so it's only fair that I get the full worth of the clothes. some of them were very expensive u know!!'

So... she wants to borrow my clothes, even the new ones still in packets, with the promise to return them washed once her kid outgrows the size 1s?
The baby is only 25 weeks IN UTERO. It will be a good 2 years until I see the clothes again, if they're not sold on, stained or ruined.

Why do I always attract the loonies. For anyone else this wouldn't even be an issue
